The multifaceted sailing ship chocolate

Our Guaviare Cacao from Colombia is grown by small farmers in their own co-operative. Guaviare chocolate is particularly rich in flavours with a tart, fresh note. Its cacao flavour hints at honey and caramel. Delicate citrus notes paired with minerality are surprising. With a dark background, reminiscent of intense pralines and roasted coffee. Velvety, sweet and harmonious on the finish. Guaviare is our most sustainable cacao variety, as part of the area is located in the world’s largest tropical national park. We also transport the CO₂-neutral cacao to Europe on the sailing freighter “Tres Hombres“. We obtain the exquisite salt, which we add to the chocolate in carefully measured doses, from the Bex salt works in Vaud.
