The cacao beans for the Fazenda Vera Cruz drinking chocolate are grown in the Bahia region of Brazil. The farm is passionate about organic and agroforestry farming, and the cacao thrives as part of the natural flora and fauna – in contrast to traditional monocultures. The diversity of the varieties grown is reflected in the aroma of this chocolate: it’s eccentric, fresh, yet slightly tart and with a subtle hint of grapes.
We recommend using a heaped tablespoon of 15g per 1dl of liquid. The drinking chocolate is particularly delicious in a milk frother, but we recommend using water instead of milk. The consistency is different with water, but the taste is very pure. At the end of the day, however, it doesn’t matter how you prepare the drinking chocolate. One thing is for sure: Share a cup of hot chocolate with someone you love and enjoy it even more!
