Our Winter Edition is completed, the laflor orange chocolate is here. The combination of Dark Chocolate 74% from the Hacienda Limon in Ecuador and candied orange slices is perfect for the upcoming cold season. Our former co-production manager Marina Merz took her time to develop a harmonious yet surprising chocolate bar. These carefully candied whole orange slices are supplied by the Jsenschmid company in Laupen in the canton of Bern. For us at laflor, the combination of dark chocolate and oranges is almost a classic, and is particularly well received during the winter time.

*Winter Edition* Dark Chocolate with Double Orange, Hacienda Limon — 85g
For this chocolate, we use the Hacienda Limon 74% cacao from Ecuador and a natural orange oil. We find that the honey note of the cacao goes perfectly with the sweet and slightly bitter taste of the candied oranges. The bars are handmade; unlike usual, we place the orange slices in the mold and pour the chocolate over them. This creates an organic shape that looks slightly different in every chocolate bar. Each laflor orange chocolate bar is unique, craftsmanship at its finest! The family business Jsenschmid from Laupen has been refining citrus fruits and exotic fruits for decades. It places great importance on the quality of its products. Only the best fruit is processed, whereby the time of harvest and the choice of the right variety are at the top of the priority list. We at laflor are very happy to have found a partner like Jsenschmid here in Switzerland.
