At laflor, we only process cacao from so-called single origins. This means that each bar can be assigned to a single origin. The cacao of our 75% Rio Sinu chocolate, for example, is 100% from the Colombian cooperative Integrasinu. This allows us to precisely see how the cacao is grown there. Not only does this give you the transparency to know exactly what you are consuming, but you can also read on each package where exactly the cacao comes from and how the local work is done.

At the moment, there are five “Origins” in our selection. All Origins are from the equator zone; Ecuador (2 regions), Venezuela, Brazil and Colombia. Each laflor chocolate bar has its own flavor, which is typical for the variety and region. Cacao variety, soil, cultivation, climate, weather and the individual production process of each origin influence the chocolate that is created at our manufactory in Zurich.
