With spring comes Easter… or the other way around. We can’t wait for nature to come to life. This includes all the delicious foods that are typical for this time of year. Whether it be wild garlic, dandelion, purslane or the countless Easter specialties. Osterfladen, colomba, bunny cookies and, of course, chocolate bunnies in any form may also be tempting you.
laflor remains true to its identity and focuses on bars and dragées. Freshly coated and melt-in-the-mouth good, the white Spring Almonds remain an absolute hit.
Let’s take a look at the white Easter eggs. We roast and caramelize the delicate Sicilian almonds in a copper kettle before coating them with a generous layer of white chocolate. A touch of lemon oil and tiny bits of verveine leaves are added to the white chocolate made from Dominican cacao butter. Now, we have to hide the freshly produced, eye-catching Easter eggs carefully, because they enchant anyone who has had the pleasure of trying one.
How do they taste? They melt in your mouth, are crispy inside and have a surprising taste that makes you think of homemade Easter cake made of short pastry. It evokes associations with childhood memories that blew us away. This Easter specialty comes in a sachet and fits into every Easter basket.
If you love it, you can’t let it go. We’re talking about laflor goat milk chocolate, which is only available in spring. Carefully roasted cacao nibs from Brazil, goat’s milk from Blüemlisberg and sugar from locally grown organic sugar beets. That is all. Over the course of 72 hours, a fresh and floral milk chocolate is created in the stone mélangeur. It delights with its light acidity, the scent of hay and the typical goat aroma. A finish that lingers and that will blow you away.
Blüemlisberg is a farm located at 1200 meters above sea level in the municipality of Schwyz; the meadows in the mountains are rich in herbs and contain many essential oils that have a positive effect on the health of the animals and the quality of the milk. Goat’s milk was already praised by Greek physician Hippocrates (460 to 375 BC) for being a life elixir and an invigorating remedy. In addition, it is also said to have a cell-building and cell-renewing effect, which is why goat’s milk is also highly praised as an anti-aging substance. The Egyptian empress Cleopatra already knew that, as she bathed her body in goat’s milk…
